Core Drill
Using a parallel stand While Core Drilling
The parallel stand for concrete core drilling is a first of its kind. It allows concrete cutters to core drill a hole on an angle and still be accurate. Not only is it easier for the operator of the stand to use, but it is easier on the equipment as well. Before this stand, cutters that needed to core a parallel hole had to use a makeshift device that would inevitably fail or would give poor results. This stand is highly durable and moves side to side to give concrete cutters the articulation they need.
We're ready to take on a challenge.
We've been solving on-the-job challenges for over 30 years.
We were tasked with creating a 9’x10′ opening in a 12-inch thick wall at a wine bottling plant, which was located on the mezzanine level. However, the job posed many challenges that needed to be overcome, such as protecting the surrounding area while creating the opening and finding a way to break down the wall into manageable pieces that could be transported. To solve this problem, we decided to core 12-inch diameter holes throughout the area, which allowed us to break the wall into smaller pieces that could be easily transported and disposed of.
Completing this project required a significant amount of coordination and collaboration with the plant and other contractors to ensure that all project deadlines were met. Due to the nature of the job, we had to comply with all food and drink processing regulations, which added an extra layer of difficulty to the project. However, our team worked tirelessly to ensure the job was completed safely, timely, and efficiently.
